The Corporation’s quarterly Supervisory Board Meeting has been Held.

The Supervisory Board of the Sidama construction works Corporation reviewed the implementation of the corporation’s 10-month plan for fiscal year 2017. according to CEO Elias Tiro, the corporation has been building 47 irrigation, drinking water supply, well drilling and building construction projects in the last 10 months with a rate of more than ETB 2.26 billion. The corporation has completed 21 projects and has been able to create jobs for many of the state’s citizens.

Honorable Mr. Ashenafi Elias, chief organizing officer of the state prosperity Party archives and chairman of the board of directors, said that the corporation is building projects including night shift even faster and more efficiently, and that in addition to building work, the corporation is encouraging efforts to fulfill its social responsibility by engaging in volunteer work. He said it was also a demonstration that strong institutions are being built in the region so that the corporation can become an effective and competitive institution in the short term.

The board of management reviewed the implementation of the 10-month plan of the institute after field observations of the projects the corporation is building, and the visit included the construction of the Gorche hospital building project in Gorche district, the G+4 building project of the Gorche city administration, and the construction of the Fara Hithata Large scale drinking water project in Hawasa. The members of the management board are the company said it was considering building projects in quality and that it should focus on future capacity building activities and the management board will continue to support it.
